Apache Maven – Convention over Configuration
Quite often software configuration management is the last thing a developer considers when they work on a project. It is a pain that developers have to endure whenever they need to start working on a legacy project or switch to a different project with a different way (or no way) to produce a build.
This presentation will be an introduction to Apache Maven 2 build system. It is plugin-based build system that is language agnostic (i.e., .Net and JavaScript plugins exist) and has a built-in build lifecycle that allows you to produce builds in an easy and consistent manner.
